James M. Cantrell II

Mr. Cantrell is the CEO of Innovo Manufacturing, a company specializing in prototyping, light manufacturing, and advanced repair for diverse sectors including medical, munitions, and law enforcement. In addition, he served as the CTO of Balanced Biotech Inc., a tech manufacturing company committed to developing technologies that enhance healthcare efficiency and effectiveness.

Cantrell’s educational background includes an A.S. degree in computer programming and web development, as well as a computer programming specialist certificate. His diverse skill set is further enriched by his hands-on experience in the production industry, where he worked as a grip and camera operator for filming testimonials and TV advertisements for local businesses.

A self-taught mechanical engineer, Cantrell possesses proficiencies in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), which have been instrumental in his roles. His expertise extends to consumer electronic repair, with additional experience in embedded systems firmware programming and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design.

Embracing a pragmatic approach to work, Cantrell believes in the philosophy that everyone, to some extent, is improvising and adapting throughout their professional journeys. This perspective has guided him through various innovative and challenging projects in his career.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Cantrell enjoys spending time with his wife, flying drones, and engaging in projects with his two sons. He is actively involved in his church, where he runs a production team for Sunday and Wednesday live streams, showcasing his commitment to community and faith-based initiatives.
